Harris Hill Ski Jumping
in Brattleboro, VT

Harris Hill in 2011 The sixth year of competition on the new Harris Hill ski jump saw the third two-day FIS Cup competition with 27 competitors from USA, Canada, Slovenia, Norway, Sweden and Italy.

On Saturday, the Slovenian team, performing before a crowd of nearly two thousand fans, swept the podium, with Mike Glasder the top U.S. jumper in 7th place, followed immediately by Will Rhoads, Chris Lamb & Brian Wallace in the next three places. See FIS Report. A small competition, open class, was held in the morning for seven junior men who didn't qualify for the FIS field.

On Sunday Slovenian Miran Zupancic dominated the competition for the second day in a row, with two team-mates filling out the podium. Kevin Bickner was top U.S. skier in 5th, with Mike Glasder following in 8th. Harris Hill organizers report a total of almost 6000 spectators for the two days of jumping.

Sunday's Open Class was run in rotation with the FIS Cup skiers, but from a much higher start. Zack Daniels, Landon Livreri and Karl Schulz place 1, 2, 3 in the Open Class for the second day in a row. Scroll down to the bottom of Sunday's .pdf below to see Open Class results.
