1990 Masters National Masters National Championships
USA Masters Ski Jumping National Championships
January 13-14, 1990
Tri-Norse Ski Club, Wisconsin Rapids, WI
The 1990 Masters Championships moved back to the Central Division where the Tri-Norse Ski Club in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, hosted the event. Ole Arneson and his friendly, enthusiastic and hard working team of volunteers went the extra mile to put on a great show for the Old Boys.
The Saturday night banquet featured a table full of scrapbooks, photos and memorabilia from the old days of jumping, perfect for participants who have been skiing for 30, 40 or even 50 years. The main event at the banquet was the induction of Ole's dad, 1942 National Veterans Champion Ingvar Arnesen, Sr., into the Masters Ski Jumpers Hall of Fame.
Twenty nine Old Boys from three USSA divisions competed on the K-52 meter jump. On Saturday, Jan. 13, Tri-Norse organizers introduced a team competition with six teams of five jumpers each.
Here are the official results of the Masters Championships in six images, first Sunday's age group championships, then the Saturday team event.
